Publigo is an add-on for Google Sheets and Google Drive that:
Connects to your Drive to retrieve your document template, and lets you choose the template you want to use
Reads your Google Sheets (email addresses, column headers, cell content)
Sends emails according to the spreadsheet data as a campaign.
Some additional features can:
Connect to your Google Forms in order to retrieve the answers and generate files on form submission
This add-on is tightly integrated to your Google account and the data stored in the said account. When installing the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace, you will be prompted to authorize different accesses to your Google account. Those authorizations will only be used to perform the service you are requesting from the add-on you have installed.
To remove the add-on access to your Google account, you must uninstall the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace (see “User Account Deletion”).
Add-ons are created and powered by Google Apps Script, on Google servers.
Information gathered by Publigo will never be sold or shared to external people. When we need to store data outside of your Google account, we use Firebase, a serverless database developed by Google, so your data never leaves Google servers. We only store in Firebase data which is absolutely needed to provide our users the service offered by this add-on. Most data collected by our add-ons are directly processed within Google Apps Script and are not saved in any database for later reuse.
User Account Deletion
By using Publigo, we only access data that is absolutely necessary for the add-on to run correctly. If you wish to stop using our service, simply follow the steps below to uninstall Publigo from your Google account:
Go to the Google Workspace Marketplace Manage apps page
Next to Publigo, click the menu icon
From the drop down menu, click Uninstall
Uninstalling Publigo will interrupt all the add-on's functionality and activities on your Google account.
However, there is no automatic deletion of your user data in our database (Firebase). To get your data deleted, please send your request to email@example.com and we will proceed to the deletion within 30 days.
Depending on its security impact, data is classified according to the five following categories:
Confidential data has the highest level of security. Only the user has access to it. All emails from your Gmail box and files from your Google Drive are strictly confidential and Publigo never has access to confidential data.
Sensitive data is needed for Publigo to perform the service you are requesting from the add-on, and is never shared out of this scope. All sensitive data such as your recipients' email addresses and your email content remain under your control, within your Google account, Google Sheets, Google Form and Gmail.
Shareable data can be shared to specific people within the company. For example, the Publigo Support Team may ask users to share their Google Sheets, Google Forms and Drive files for troubleshooting purposes. We will never keep a copy of your Drive documents' data and we strongly encourage you to remove us access to your files once your request has been addressed and resolved.
Public data can be shared as public records, like all the content published in this Publigo's website.
Private data belongs to individuals who are responsible for the maintenance and backup.
When you install Publigo on your Google account, you are asked to accept the following authorizations:
Why does Publigo need access to those scopes?
